Frequently asked questions

1. What is equine leadership coaching?

Leadership development in which a horse gives you immediate, unfiltered feedback. The horse reacts to your posture, breathing and tension; I translate what it does into something you can use about how you lead. No riding involved.

2. Do I need any experience with horses?
None. No riding, no horsemanship, nothing to revise beforehand. The horse reacts to your presence, not to your CV.

3. Is this esoteric?
No. A horse reads bodies to survive, not souls. Its reactions are observable and repeatable. There is no energy work, no aura, no mysticism of any kind. If it cannot be seen and named, it does not belong in the session.

4. Is this therapy?
No. It is leadership development built on behavioural observation. You are treated as a capable professional working on presence, not as someone to be fixed.

5. Where do sessions take place?
Near Gland, Switzerland, between Geneva and Lausanne. Corporate sessions elsewhere are possible on request.

6. In which languages do you work?
French, English and German. One facilitator for all three, no translation, no handover.

7. How long is a session?
An individual session takes a half-morning; a team or leadership-group session takes a half-day. Either way, it starts with a free fifteen-minute conversation.

8. What does it cost?
It depends on the format and the size of the group, so the figure is given on request. The first fifteen-minute conversation is free.

9. What should I wear?
Sturdy closed shoes and outdoor clothes for the weather. Everything happens outside, on the ground, so dress for a field, not a boardroom.

10. How do you protect the horses and the participants?
The horses' wellbeing and your psychological and physical safety are non-negotiable. Sessions follow the horses' rhythm, groups stay small, and nothing that happens is repeated outside.

11. Who is this for?
Leaders, senior managers and professionals in transition who want feedback nobody around them will give them straight. Organisations use it inside their HR and leadership-development programmes, for teams, boards and professional associations.

12. How does it fit into an existing leadership programme?
It slots in as a behavioural-feedback module. Outcomes map to the usual competency frameworks, and the pre- and post-session notes make it easy to fold into a longer track.
